Pacemaker Check
A pacemaker check is a standard practice where we can “look into” your pacemaker to ensure it is functioning appropriately. The goal of a pacemaker check is to determine clinical effectiveness, confirm device function and help you maintain your cardiac health.
Please follow these instructions the day of your pacemaker check :
- Go about your day as per normal.
- Eat well and stay hydrated.
- Get plenty of rest the night before.
- Bring a list of your medications with you.
How long will the appointment last ?
It usually takes between 15-30 minutes for your pacemaker to be assessed.
