Dr. Farag is a certified Cardiologist by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario with sub-specialties in echocardiography, stress echocardiography, clinical electrocardiography, and cardiac implantable devices. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in Cardiology (FRCPC), a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE). He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and a Cardiology Fellowship at Western University in London, Ontario. He then attended the University of Toronto and sub-specialized in Adult Echocardiography, which included regular, stress, and transesophageal echocardiogram. He is trained in Cardiac CT and Nuclear Cardiology imaging. He went on to complete a fellowship at University of Toronto in Clinical Electrophysiology and Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices.
